These shelves are absolutely ridiculous to install. He asks you to mark with a pencil where to screw the dowels into the wall. The pencil doesn't even fit into the whole. After finally building something small enough (the handle of my ink brush) to fit the whole thing and mark the wall, I screwed in the dowels. Now you need to attach the nails and shelf to the wall. LOL the bar barely lets the screwdriver go straight in and my screw doesn't even go all the way in. (This was with the upgraded screws that come with the shelves). My husband tried to use his drill but it doesn't fit so he needs a drill extender. I tried to unscrew what little was screwed into the anchor and the whole anchor came out of the wall. Of course not a single shelf is on display. I would not recommend these at all.
