I have been using Polydent 3 min for years on my Invisalign retainers. I was hesitant to switch products but took a chance as other reviewers specifically mentioned using it for that. I have no complaints about the functionality of the product. If anything, it may be a little better at reducing mucus build-up. Packages for individual tablets look better protected from water. But the shipping packaging was terrible. They sent the box in a padded envelope. The box was broken and had to be taped shut. I haven't seen any damaged tablets so maybe it's not a big deal and helps save on shipping supplies. The only downside is that the product instructions are a bit unclear. It sounds like you'll have to wait for the blue water to clear to sanitize. The question/answer here states that "clear" simply means no more fizzy pills compared to the blue ones for cleaning. It takes a very long time for the water to go from blue to clear so I'm hoping an effervescent tablet will do the trick. It also takes longer to clean up than Polydent, but I always forget about half the time. (i.e. he sits longer)
