Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Chase Harper USA 4100 Bโ€™Alaska Tail Trunk - Waterproof, Rugged, Industrial Grade Ballistic Nylon with Adjustable Cinch Strap Mounting System for Universal Fit by Jason Przystup

Big, well made and at a great price!

This "trunk" is very well designed and thought out. The interior is big. Just got back from a motorcycle trip across the US (Oregon to Virginia) and put a tent, tarp, sleeping bag, pillow, gloves, binoculars, camera etc in this trunk and it worked great. The top opens 3/4 and there is a flap that folds over the zipper so it's not technically waterproof and in really heavy rain like I've experienced in West Virginia some water does get in. The top has elasticated drawstrings so you can temporarily pull a little tighter, which is great for eating and drinking when you're leaving the grocery store and heading to your campsite. There are good retaining hooks on the trunk that I used to attach it to the bike. The straps that came with it were very inconvenient as I removed the trunk every night on a camping trip. There is a reflective strip along the long side of the zipped suitcase. So when you look at the zips from behind, the reflective stripe is pointing backwards, improving your visibility. In terms of visibility, it would be great if it had a more eye-catching color like yellow or red because anything we can do to make the bike more visible is a good thing. Overall this is a GREAT value for a well made, large and light rear barrel.
