Cuts great but there are no locking pins on the shaft that go into the crown itself. This causes a problem when the drilling direction is reversed, sometimes the drill twists and falls down. A nuisance, but if you're careful you can still get the job done. I did this through 6 holes, adjusting the bit from time to time. Not a bad buy for the price, but if it wears off it can become annoying and possibly dangerous.
