Ideal for removing chlorine and softening shower water for softer hair and skin

Ideal for use with Sprites Ageless Water Filter. These filters are so cool because not only do they soften hard water (somewhat), but more importantly, they filter out that pesky chlorine that is added to water in most major cities. Chlorine destroys your skin, hair and eyes, and inhaling it every day is terrible for your lungs. Not only does it make your daily shower unhealthy, it also makes it smelly! (I hate the smell of chlorine) However, most people are so used to it that they are immune and don't even realize the daily dangers of chlorine exposure. Do yourself and your family a favor. Try this filter and you'll wonder how you lived without it for so long. As for me, I have very hard water at home (I temporarily live in London where the water is notoriously hard) and these filters are really making a difference. (Note: This isn't the same as a real water softening system, but they do soften the water a bit.) In my opinion, if you're a renter, live in a temporary home (like me), or just can't afford an entire home softener system, at least if you use it with a sprite filter you avoid daily bathing in uncomfortable hard chlorinated water and you can soften it a little too. Shortly after washing my hair is no longer dry and sticks to my head. My skin is no longer itchy or dry and there is less limescale in the shower and bath to clean. Notice I say LESS. Keep in mind that these filters aren't a cure-all for hard water, but they do handle those smelly chlorine fumes, which is why I buy them first. Remember to change the filter every 2-4 months (twice if your shower is used regularly, 3-4 if you use less) and once a month unscrew the shower head, remove the filter, invert and replace as directed use by the manufacturer as it improves performance.
