This is the form factor I prefer - my issue with the Brydge is that the laptop is held at the shorter end rather than horizontally. Yes, it is more aesthetic than anything else. However, it works pretty well. The only real downside is that my laptop only plugs in one way, or more specifically, the USB ports only fit on one side of the laptop. This means there is only one orientation, so the top of the laptop is always on the right when you dock it. I understand that the vents built into the dock are designed to line up with the laptop vents, although this would be solved if the vents were on either side of the dock. Still a small flaw, but performance is excellent, no issues. I like the green light that tells you you have positive lock. The USB on the dock works as expected. The materials are very good and the hue matches the color of the laptop. This is a good product and I really like it!
