Review on Casio G Shock GD400 9CS Black Resin by Wendy Amorina

I have many watches, about 15 but this is my first G-Shock. All of my watches are rated for 100 meters, although some have leather straps, but I just wanted something that was rated for at least 200 meters and had a resin or silicone strap so I could swim without fear of causing damage. What I mean is that if you read enough reviews of 100 million watches, you will come across a few where the reviewer claims their watch just got damaged in the shower. I have a 100m Casio Pro Trek with a polymer strap, but I think I've always wanted the G-Shock as well because of its reputation for being rugged. Speaking of stiffness, this one certainly looks the part. What got me going is that I saw a G-Shock available at my local Costco but it was a GD-400-1 which had a downside and I couldn't read it well enough. But I'm glad because it made me look at the other color options available and I just couldn't resist the green and gold color on this one, it just looks amazing, just how I always like the G-Shock Had presented. . Looks like it was made for the army! I like big watches and I don't own a watch smaller than 45mm so this one fits all the bills but it's probably the lightest watch I own, even a Pro Trek I think. Another feature that looks incredible is the textured stripe, again adding to the military look. And while I'm not a skateboarder I'm sure bull bars will come in handy one day, but even if they aren't the gold bars make a statement for their durability and look great next to the green and black case. I am very fond of solar powered watches and have looked at several models from the G-Shock range but kept coming back to the look of these watches until I had no more doubts about which G-Shock I needed. I will replace my own batteries when the time comes, but I just hope they last for many years that G-Shock fans rave about. If you doubt this watch, it looks even better in real life and looks better on my wrist than any photo I've seen.
