Actually helped reduce slippage a bit.
I bought new glasses that drove me crazy. The nose pieces were rubbery but shiny and smooth. They slipped off my nose within seconds after I put them back on. And if they slipped, the magnification would change, making everything blurry. I bought anti slip pads and although they included a tiny screwdriver it was useless because it is shaped like a V not a straight edge and it won't. I do not work. But I found an old eyeglass screwdriver and installed new fairings in a few minutes. Huge difference! Not 100% non slip but it will be a few minutes before I notice them moving a bit. Very convenient.
