Update: I'm worried I got a fake Samson mic. My original review mentioned that my package had obviously been opened and I didn't have the cable. I have this mic (purchased from another seller) and over time I've started noticing subtle differences between the two. Needed amplification, dropped connection sometimes etc. Well, yesterday I couldn't get the mic to work at all. Turns out the micro USB connector wasn't soldered properly because it came loose and fell out. Now I can't even get the mic to work with an XLR cable. I am assuming that this mic is of lower quality than my other mic of the same brand because it is actually a cheap fake. I would stay away from this seller. I will update my review when they fix the situation.
