We have two of these boxes. We bought one for our Whippet last summer and another a few days ago for his little brother who will be joining us in a few weeks. The first was great. Easy to assemble, durable and simply well made. The second is not very good. I don't know, maybe it's because the first one is labeled Pet Porter 2 and the new one just Pet Porter, the UPCs match but the quality isn't the same. We've started to cut back on quality, and you can tell. First, it doesn't match the picture. The image is monochromatic dark gray. The one we received has a black bottom. Too bad it doesn't fit, but we'll live. Gathering was painful. Literally. The plastic of both the drawer and the plastic lid is scored and can cut you if you're not careful. gloves help. We'll probably need to sand down the edges of the vents so the pup doesn't cut their nose. It's really so touching. Also, there are square holes in the base of the original that fit into the base of the screws so they fit snugly. The base has round holes that are too small for a square screw base. So they almost don't fit and you have to hold them tight so they don't turn when you put on hats that immediately cross threads because they've gotten cheap too. The crate is fine if you can get the old version, but this new one isn't worth it.
