I hike and run cross country at least 3 days a week and I have used and worn several different running vests. While not as good as my more expensive favorite brand, this is a great vest for its price range. That's at least $40 less than what I spent on my last running vest. What I like about this vest: 1. It is lightweight and has a breathable inner back. 2. It includes 2 soft water bottles that fit in the front pockets. So you can easily take both water and an electrolyte drink with you on longer runs. There is also enough space in the back for a hydration bladder. Also, there is a loop on the back that goes to the top of my bladder to keep it from slipping off. 3. Additional front pockets for groceries. 4. Loops in several places for trekking poles so I can place them where I like best. 5. Fits well and does not rub under the armpits. I think there is room for improvement: I don't like the clips on the front of the vest. Overall I think this is a good choice at a good price. For those who want a decent running vest without spending more than $100, this is a decent vest.
