I use one of the arms for a 15" MacBook Pro and the other for a 15" portable monitor. My MacBook Pro weighs 4 pounds and was placed on a 3 pound tray (not included). The hand holding my MacBook does not rise when the top of the hand is set to horizontal (10 inches). It only went to the bottom of the arm (6 inches). So if you want your monitor to be in that range, you're out of luck with this article. I think this article will only work if you have 2 monitors of the same size/weight and you need a 10" or higher mount. But there are cheaper brands for this purpose. It's also all pretty heavy going. It takes some strength to move my screens back and forth. I've had the best experiences with the other hands I have at my job. Overall, the design lacks sequences. The screws for checking the cables of the arm and forearm are of different sizes, the tensioning screws do not have a noticeable effect when adjusting.
