Review on 🌟 11 Inch Bethlehem Star Tree Topper with Pre-lit Multi-Color LED Lights - from National Tree Company by David Guerrero

That's great! - Seasonal decoration

We love the star. It looks great on wood when lit. It's all clear plastic, so up close, when unlit, it's not as attractive as some stars. But when I look at it, sitting on the couch 8 feet away from me, it looks pretty nice even with no lights on. We have a 4Β½ foot tree. I was concerned that this star might be too big for a tree my size, but it isn't. It looks perfect but would also fit on a taller tree. I will address some of the complaints or concerns I have read in other reviews. As everyone should understand, this star was specially designed for National Tree Co's Christmas tree, which has two-tone lights. This information is listed in the item description. The star I received has the male end needed to connect to the female end on the tree. Some have pointed out that their star has the same end as the open star on the tree, so they don't match. Mine fits perfectly. The lights on the star work in conjunction with the lights on the tree. No matter how you light the tree (colored, white, colored flickering, etc.), the star does the same. I read that some of the previous stars on this model had a bug and only glowed white. This problem appears to have been resolved. The ugly tube mentioned in at least one review attaches to the tree with 1 or 2 zip ties provided. This is a green hollow plastic tube that is attached to the central part of the tree (the "trunk") and the tip of which should be below the top of the tree. It is not and should not be towering over the tree and looking ridiculous as mentioned in one review. A white plastic part is then attached to this tube and the star is inserted into the white plastic part. It seems unnecessary to make it that way. I think they could just make one end of the green tube so the star can sit right in it. But they must have designed it that way for some reason, so there it is. But maybe the green hollow tube is an addition to the original design to give the star more stability. You can skip the green tube and just attach the white plastic thing to the branch hanging at the very top of the tree. However, in this case it is not very reliable and can easily tip or even fall. It looks better if you attach it to a pipe rather than directly to a tree, as you can position the white thing to be under the top of the tree as well, making it seem like the star is the only one instead thing above see the white thing above. Wood. You can see the green tube and white plastic nozzle on the side or back of the tree. But if your tree is in a corner, that shouldn't be a problem. Mine is against the wall, not in the corner. I positioned the decoration to cover the white plastic sphere. The green tube harmonizes and is more hidden. At night, when the light is on, it doesn't matter because you don't notice plastic things at all. Depending on the location of your tree, this may only be a problem during the day. I considered using a different star (not National Tree Co) and just attaching the star to the extension separately. But I'm glad I bought this star to attach to the garlands that are already strung on the Christmas tree. I didn't think I would like it with colored lights. In the past I've always had solid multicolored lights for the tree and solid white lights for the star. I thought this was what I still wanted but decided to give this star a chance. And I was surprised that I really like it when a star shines like a tree. I'd be fine if it wasn't, but I like it. I highly recommend this star if you have the tree it's for and don't mind the star lights illuminating in combination with the tree lights. I read a few reviews that said it only lasted a season or two. It should last longer, but it's so cheap and it's really just a piece of plastic. You get what you paid for. If I have to replace it in a year or two I'm fine with that, although I hope it lasts a lot longer!
