Our 2 year old loves his Elmo shoes and quickly learned to put them on himself. They've held up well for almost two months with little wear on the front toes where he's constantly bumping into things. The only downside is that there is not enough arch support and after a few weeks of wearing these shoes all day every day his feet started to hurt. He is extremely active and runs around all day long so most of the other kids probably won't even notice.
