My only installation flaw is the shaft only has a few turns of grip with all the parts installed. Maybe my front door is thicker than usual. The motion sensor comes as an optional kit. I used a ball mount to point it down sharply to limit tripping in traffic. Both camera and sensor work through my sunshade door. I'd appreciate a little ping if the sensor triggers and the camera snaps a picture while I'm waiting for delivery. The quality of the image stored on the micro SD card (max 32GB, not included but required) is significantly better than what can be seen on the display, but sufficient for identification. I really like that I no longer have to bend down to look through the peephole, I just have to press a central button.
