These nail files are sturdy. They are 100/180. The 100 side is great for filing natural nails and the 180 side would be good for filing artificial nails. gel, polygel, acrylic, etc. They are thick, there is layer of the 100 and 180 with a middle layer between those two. I think these would be good for nail shops or doing your nails at home. I'm going to keep one of these in my purse for the unfortunate times when I break my natural nails. They also work really well for filing acrylic nails. Overall, they are strong and work great.
