I'm not a hairdresser but I needed some scissors for home use considering salons are back closed where I live and our hair becomes a nuisance. I just tried and texturizing scissors to cut and texturize my own hair. These scissors are better than the misplaced office and kitchen scissors I used at home. These scissors are lightweight, more comfortable to hold and much sharper than the scissors I had at home. I'm very happy with these scissors for home use and it's handy to have a storage case too. This set of scissors includes two sets of detachable plastic rings that fit into the finger holes and adjust the fit. Each pair also has a straight tab or finger rest that screws on. The rest is straight and doesn't feel as sturdy or comfortable, but I'm not a stylist so I don't really care. However, I doubt that the quality is ideal for a professional stylist. Length can also be an issue (too long) as both pairs are about 6 inches from blade tip to tang. They don't feel like premium professional scissors, but they work well for my household needs. Pleases. 4 stars.
