I feel the bowl is reasonably priced and is of a good quality. We use it for a dog who tends to eat very quickly then becomes sick afterwards, this helped her slow down in eating with little interference from us. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has a pet who tends to eat too quickly. While we don't use it for a water bowl it could be easily used for a pet who also drinks too quickly.
