I wanted a container to put on the bathroom countertop to clean my fixtures in. I used to put them in a coffee mug and clean them that way, but I found it quite rude to walk by and see them sitting in a coffee mug, especially since my husband is germ-phobic. I can clean them in this container, close the container while they wash, and when I'm done I can pour in water and support the clear insert on the back of the container while my retainers dry. Once they are dry (since they dry on their own) I simply remove the clear insert from the back and place it in a storage cup along with my mounts. So brilliant!
