I'm a big fan of kitchen gadgets that make my life easier. But I still had to find a good way to remove the tops from the strawberries. Of course the knives work great, but you either lose a lot of berry pulp on top of it or you cut yourself. Enter the berry blaster! The thing works great. It's a pleasure to use - my kids now help me make strawberries - it's fast, easy to clean as it's dishwasher safe and easy to store as it's the size of a pencil. Another strawberry gadget I used was clunky, difficult to use, and took up too much room in my desk drawer. If you read reviews about it, go ahead and buy it. You'll spend less time preparing the berries and more time enjoying them.
