I had the original for many years. It has absolutely proven itself for over 100 restorations. One day it just broke. Hm? I noticed that another reviewer from a similar background blamed the Texas heat. For me it was a simple calculation. Yes moment. My original worked in New York, then Virginia, and died here in Arizona. If it's 117 degrees here, it's easily 125 degrees in the store. My new one is removed after use and kept in the linen closet. I see no reason why this one wouldn't give me the same reliable service and lifecycle with this precaution. I think I would still have the original considering the heat.
