This waist pack is perfect. I needed something to work out in the gym because my phone kept slipping out of my pocket. I always hated the old fanny packs because they were ridiculously poofy and became associated with clueless middle aged tourists and gym bores. This has a much lower profile. Not much wider than a belt. I can get my (Samsung S9) phone, keys, and wallet inside it with room to spare. Once I got used to it, it didn't get in the way of my workout. This would be great for hiking, running and many other active pursuits.
