This is my second silent mouse from Logitech, the first had the same defect. Of course, you can buy a mouse every six months, but it's not very convenient. I'll try to find alternatives. Different pros: Compact, handy, accurate. The sound of the buttons is very pleasant. Different cons: The battery compartment cover does not fit snugly against the case, rattles during operation. I had to insert a piece of paper to improve fixation. Six months later, the left button began to work every other time, the mouse was ejected.
