I bought the readers to carry around in the utility pockets of my tactical pants and they work great for that. I was very pleased with the strength of the metal body and the thin profile. They are easy to put in and take out of your pocket and well protected in your pocket. That being said, the glasses are quite thin when worn, which is a trade-off. If you can be gentle with them when wearing them, you won't have a problem. The glasses are comfortable because they are so light, the optics suit what I use them for, the convenience of having them in a case with no collar or other carrying device is great. You work for what I need.
