I used this soap on my own hair as an adult and found it to be a generally great shampoo free from many of the questionable chemicals that are contained in other shampoos. It is able to effectively remove hair products from your hair, leaving your hair clean. As a daily user of this soap, I have consistently felt that I would need to use a larger amount of soap than other soaps to achieve the same level of cleanliness. Also, I missed any fragrance in the shampoo, although I can understand why some would prefer to avoid even a naturally derived fragrance. Overall, though, this is a good choice if you're worried about the chemicals in your shampoo.
