Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product office electronics

Works! I have accumulated over 300 business cards and it has worked much better than the CardCam app on my iPhone. The scanner scans in black and white, but more exotic cards with colorful backgrounds or odd-shaped logos require extra care after the scan is complete. In general, the whole process from installation to scanning the final map took about 2 hours. There are a couple of issues preventing this from getting 5 stars.1. Map images are rarely scanned correctly. When a card is fed into the scanner, the cards tend to tilt to the right or left, creating a crooked image. In most cases this is not a problem and even with this distortion, the information on the card is scanned normally. But if you want the image to be of high quality, then this scanner is not for you.2. As with many optical character recognition (OCR) programs, scanning specific fonts almost always involves a bit of guesswork. Fonts in commonly used families (e.g. Courier, Times New Roman, etc.) are fine, but all others are 50/50.3 at best. Cards are not fully ejected from the device after scanning is complete. Not critical, but may cause inconveniences for large batch scans. 300 scans repeatedly encountered multiple issues.1. If the image is crooked after scanning, phone numbers and other contact information may be affected. ("i" can be interpreted as "l" and vice versa. 2. If a phone number is replaced by "
