I took a chance and ordered it because I'm an eyeshadow, well, makeup in general, freak. But I especially love eyeshadow because you can do so much with it. I'm 53 so I don't necessarily want the wild pinks, oranges or blues that look good on younger eyes, they just don't work if you have some lines and wrinkles. I can honestly say that as soon as I opened these up and saw the colors in person, I told my husband that THIS was the FIRST palette I knew I would use. Single. Colour.! The colors are really pigmented and last all day. I bought Sephora's NARS eyeshadow, which was nowhere near the pigment they offer, and you actually had to spritz a setting spray on the eyeshadow brush to make it show. The colors are beautiful and I love the combination of matte and shimmer.
