Works great but it's a shame because the little hole where the red light hits the silver part is so small you lose some of what you're using because you can't quite get it out when you finished again. However, it is more convenient to work with than with small plastic bottles. I worked over 60 hours on a project using both applicators. I've used both although this one was more comfortable to hold as I had to switch colors often and couldn't afford to buy the 6 required applicators/bulbs for the job. *Important: I found that if I took one of the pens that came with the kit, dipped it in olive oil and rolled it over the inside of the tiny applicator and then left it there, the paint wouldn't dry for a couple of years of seconds. Hours - which is way better than drying in 5 minutes as it was without this technique.
