Stinks horribly! I bought it based on positive reviews, the smell was not mentioned anywhere. It was so bad I could smell it when I opened the patio door through the packaging. I left it in my garage, opened it up, maybe to air it out, and the whole garage collapsed. It's like a strong chemical smell from cut grass. Difficult to explain. I know real leather has an odor but I've never smelled it. It stays on my hands when I touch the belt. I'm concerned what chemical treatments may have been done to make it smell that way. What the hell?!
