This is a very good rug, not too thick to avoid tripping but it doesn't stick to the floor. It slips very easily and is a real danger in the kitchen. If a person steps over the edge, the mat will slide off their feet. I stand on it most of the day so I got used to it. The other people who have to walk around me didn't suspect anything as long as I wasn't on the mat. I don't know how to solve this problem. The rest of the mat is great. Low profile, high visibility, comfortable, easy to move easily.
