Review on JUBAAY Straightener Dual Purpose Professional Convenient by Beth Martin

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Gives a good curl but the advertising is misleading.

I was looking for a long barrel straightener and decided to give it a try as it was cheaper than others I was considering with the same characteristics. It heats up quickly, doesn't tangle in my hair and gives me a nice curl, but that's pretty much all the benefits I have. The product name in the description is Jubaay, but the curling iron says Yazhou. I've never heard of this, so it's not a big problem for me. My issue is that it needs to have 25 temperature settings and a swivel cord, which it doesn't. I don't know if they sent me the correct box and iron, or if it's just a problem with the translation of the ad. The iron looks very similar to the promotional photos, but as I said, it's missing a few key features. The power button is also in a terrible place so it gets bumped in and out with use. Now that I know, I hope it doesn't happen that often. What doesn't suit me and is very frustrating is that the iron doesn't have a 360° rotating cord. I have found that I have to unwind the cord after almost every curl and it takes a little while. For the low price you get a very basic and cheap curling iron and the advertising is misleading as others have stated in their reviews. If I had known it didn't have these features, I would have spent a few bucks more and bought a different one.
