Review on TCP CFL Double Circle Lamp, 200W Equivalent, Bright White (3500K) T6 Circline Bulb by Jeremiah Butler

This review is for the TCP CFL ring light, a soft white T9 ring light at 2700K (equivalent to 120W). I had to order a second bulb as the first came in pieces. Arrived in a thin cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap. The second bulb arrived safe and sound (still in bubble wrap) after the first had been returned to Amazon. I was very happy to find this replacement for the round bulb. It is installed in a Japanese clip on table lamp that I brought to the US in 1982. This is only the second time I've had to replace a lightbulb! Let know that the lamp itself is designed to operate on the Japanese electricity standard of 100 volts at a frequency of 50 Hz. The lamp has been working in the USA at 120 volts and 60 Hz for 38 years! The general consensus is that this lamp (and bulbs) should burn out within a few months. So that I can continue to use this wonderful lamp in the future, I have ordered a third lamp, which should arrive next Saturday. I hope he arrives safe and sound.
