I wanted a hard-sided case, but one with real latches and not a zipper. Tired of failing zippers rendering my luggage useless. Hard to find this case but happy to have it. It has flown without getting crushed or wheels broken off. Yes, it has picked up scratches but that is going to happen no matter what. Latches have remained closed. Interior has a nice zippered compartment on the "top" side to easy to open this. This is my first four-wheeled case and I see why people prefer this style. Works well on most smooth and semi-rough surfaces. Takes caution and attention on rougher surfaces.
