I wear sunglasses all the time on the beach and at the sea. After contact with strong salt water, the salt dries and crystallizes between the lens and the frame. As the salt crystallizes, it repels any coatings on the edge surface of the lens and creates blisters/chips. The lenses are of good clarity, quality, polarization and scratch resistance, but durability in salty environments is not great as I've only had the lenses for 6 months.
