(But no watercolor pencils; I hate watercolor pencils and they stay canned because they are MASS.) I will say that I have not trusted my favorite items to be damaged if I have them and walked slowly. Now my favorites (pens, ballpoint pens, gel pens, etc.) are in this wonderful book! There is enough space between the pages so that the pins don't hit each other: RELIABLE! I think I'll try to sew a pocket in the left side to hold erasers, sharpeners and "tools" because my tools don't fit the special rubber bands. I think so, but I think a small "pocket" would be more useful there (especially for files, blades, and kneaded erasers), although you can put a thick brush in there to get rid of eraser dirt or shavings, which is handy. I love that I think I can sew something into it. It's pretty durable because I can't sew! Unfortunately I have to order another one. Pens and pencils slip out a lot easier than I imagined (I mean they hold tight, but the book's tilt makes it easy to pull out the right pencil or pen). This imo is far superior to folded styles: I can turn pages and not hear the obnoxious sound of pencils clattering against each other. This zipper keeps everything in place without touching: great design! A+ (Feels like leather too; looks like a wallet. Love it.)
