If you want an attractive belt for your child, this product is great. If you're looking for an everyday workhorse belt, look elsewhere. I was looking for a replacement for the Toneka full grain webbing straps which I like but they don't seem to be made anymore. It looks like the belt has two main components. Firstly there is one type of build material which could be leather which has all the holes you see in the picture. Second, there are decorative leather straps that weave in and out of holes in the building material. The fine leather trims look very appealing and the belt is missing the real textured leather. After 2 weeks of daily use, the decorative leather straps ripped. Within 3 months the structural support failed and the belt actually broke in half. This building material appears to be the leather equivalent of chipboard, except it's some kind of cardboard. The belt I bought at Walmart for $15 when this belt broke has since lasted longer and looked better most of the time.
