I was a bit skeptical but decided to give it a try. Well I've tried it and I'm really impressed. My beard is 7 inches from the bottom of my chin. I found it pretty easy to use. Heats up quickly. The power cord has a swivel where it enters the handle so you don't have to fiddle with it. The Velcro on the power cord also feels nice, so you don't have to wrap the cord around it to store it. Overall a GREAT product!
