Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Review of Lasko Lasko-16 Remote Control Stand Fan, 3-Speed (1646) - 1-Pack, White by Tasha Fisher

Simply not a good fan purchase

I always use Lasko for my pedestal fans and actually use them all year round. I love white noise and a cool breeze in the winter and of course airflow and cooling in the summer months. My mistake was that when I read about the pedestal fan I didn't check how high it actually goes. I've bought a lot from Lasko over the years and they've all risen high. This one only rises 47 inches, and the 47-inch mark is actually the top of the actual fan grill. This is something like a mini floor fan. He's tiny. It comes with a well working remote control, thank goodness the manual buttons on the fan are very low and not easily accessible. I still have a Lasko pedestal fan that I use, it's also a 16 inch fan and the difference in quality, durability and performance between the two is stark in a bad way. This 1646 is made entirely of very thin plastic. The thinness of the plastic that makes up the blades helps the fan emit virtually no quality air. I found this fan easy to assemble and placed it next to my old fan. This has proven itself and on the second level the fan is strong and really blows my mind. Since 1646 I hardly feel it. I was laying on my bed with the 1646 on and it was not helping me. I am very surprised at Laski's drop in quality on this fan. Some might say you get what you pay for, but my other weasel was in the same price range. If you're looking for a small pedestal fan that delivers minimal white noise and smooth airflow, this could be the one for you. To be honest, my desktop mini fan blows out more air. So if you are looking for a fan to help you through the warm and hot months this is not the fan. This is simply not possible without high-quality plastic. So not just because I wasn't a fan of design. This fan just doesn't keep what it promises. Last but not least, the stand post inserted into the base doesn't stay in place. I know how to install it. I did this with my other fan. But it won't sit securely. Every time I turned the height adjustment knob, everything turned. Just made cheap. I had to return it.
