Review on Nokian Tires Nordman 7 205/55 R16 94T winter by Janis Endzelins ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

I'm writing this while experiencing "light shock" I recently switched these tires from winter to summer and was shocked to see that during the winter season, only one spike was lost on 4 wheels! purchased tires in the fall. They covered approximately 8,000 kilometers by the end of the winter. I'm not sure how the manufacturer in this instance was able to produce such excellent outcomes, but the fact is undeniable. A thorough break-in period with new tires (500 km at no more than 80 km/h) may have been beneficial, but earlier attempts at the same method with different tires did not provide results that were comparable. Even my own, the fifth-series Finnish "Hakka" (which I once really enjoyed), lost a lot more spikes over the winter. Regarding NordFrost-2, which "sprinkled" by 10% following the first winter, I had already kept quiet. All of the other characteristics are quite nice as well. Goes with assurance on dry asphalt. It is obvious that winter is kept entirely to itself, unlike summer. Everything is level on snow or ice. It is effectively reconstructed by the snow roll (and at a "sane" pace). True, and the Avensis 2.4 has enough weight. BUT! A crucial point. All of these admirable traits didn't really take hold until after the break-in. I was honestly a slightly disturbed before it was entirely over because it appeared that the rubber was supple and "walking" Well, that was pretty loud. Eventually, everything "magically" came together (albeit the tires were still a little noisy). So . colleagues, if you suddenly decide to buy this stuff, please be patient. Generally speaking, I made the decision to write a review solely and completely due to the remarkably resilient surges.)))

Pros
  • handling, toughness, and superb studding.
Cons
  • Noisy
