My daughter lovess soft fluffy rugs to lay on while reading. I got this one for the long length, the 2x6 would fit more than her whole body.It definitely didn't smell good when I first unwrapped it, so I hung it on the line for a day. The smell dissipated, but the fur is just strange. I will not let my daughter use it, I am certain it would give her a rash. She did not want to use it anyways since the fur is long and odd feeling. It's nothing like a rug should feel like.Unfortunately, this rug missed the mark.
