I've been using Meater for half a year now and this was my second purchase (first was on Kickstarter) so I'll give my thoughts after using it at many, many chefs. One day, when you get used to using Meater for your cooks, you'll probably never have to be without it again. It is so good. There are two places I mainly use Meater: Big Green Egg and Philips Airfryer. I make a lot of Green Egg Chicken Beer cans and not having to open the lid to check makes the whole process easier. For a quick workaround, I slow cook hamburger patties and chicken in the Airfryer and reverse sautΓ© them, so the Meater works great in this environment too. Wireless and take the guesswork out of your chefs, Meater is the only way. My other wired thermometers went to the landfill, except for my handy speed reader.
