I was looking forward to charging all my devices in one place and I like magnetic charging as it's better for my phone battery. I installed it as soon as it arrived. Setup isn't as easy as one might think - just opening the compartment where the watch cable plugs in took a tremendous amount of effort. You also need to make sure you have a shorter watch charger otherwise everything won't fit in the rail and then won't sit flat. Unfortunately, charging the watch never worked. My watch just wouldn't stay on the charger. So I resigned myself to just using it for my phone and AirPods. But the AirPods charging dock never worked and I never turned on the charging indicator no matter how much I moved the AirPods. So I resigned myself to just using it for my phone. Until last night. I put the phone up and heard strange clicks. I picked up the phone and they continued for a few more seconds. Convinced I had imagined everything, I put the phone back and there was no crackle. But I picked up the phone after about 30 minutes and it was HOT, almost too hot to touch. Here it is. I've decided to return it and I hope it didn't damage my phone's battery.
