Review on Effaclar Mat Oil-Free Mattifying Moisturizer by La Roche-Posay - Daily Moisturizer for Oily Skin to Reduce Oil, Minimize Pores, and Exfoliate with LHAs by Willie Carrera

This is the best moisturizer I have ever used! I have very oily and acne prone skin. Also, using "oil-free" moisturizers is a problem for me. I was hesitant to purchase this moisturizer due to the small quantity and high price. I'm a modest person and I don't like to pay a lot for my makeup. However, I was desperately looking for something because I was tired of the oily shine on my skin just a few hours after applying makeup. After doing a lot of research and reading reviews, I decided to take a chance with La Roche Posay's Effaclar Mat moisturizer. This is by far the best moisturizer I have ever used. Don't be intimidated by how little you get. To be honest, you only need a pea-sized amount to cover your entire face. Remember this is a mattifying moisturizer. This is for oily skin to keep your skin hydrated and healthy while keeping the oil at bay. Even after application, the skin remains dry but moisturized. This is a must if you have oily skin like mine. If you have normal or dry skin, this is most likely not for you. I've been using this moisturizer for a few months now and even when I use it without makeup I notice a difference in the oil build up - there really isn't! I have used it in combination with BECCA Ever Matte Poreless Primer Perfector and am very happy with the results. I do have to blot my skin around the middle of the day but this is a drastic decrease as my previous regimen required me to blot at least 4 times a day. Well worth the money and I will definitely be a regular customer.
