Foil scissors are a part of wine drinking that you don't even think about until they stop working. These are simple devices that are not too expensive and you forget about them. But one day you realize that you spend more time cutting the foil than removing the cork. Then you know you need a new foil cutter. The sharpness of the blades decreases over time, so you will need new ones over time. There are quirky ones that cost a lot of money but eventually need to be replaced. Go with the ones that are cheap and have worked really well so far. Even if I need a new set in a year (we open a lot of bottles!), it will be very profitable.
