Review on Aden Anais Embrace Toddler Bed Weighted by Carrie Goldberg

This is the second weighted blanket we have bought for our daughters. The first was smaller but heavier at 7 pounds and had a soft cover (like a blanket) that had to be removed to wash and then hung out to dry. While we love it, I have to say that this aden + anais weighted blanket is much better for our older daughter who tends to sleep hot but needs a bit of weight to reduce her anxiety. Not only is this duvet a little lighter, but the ALL duvet is machine washable, which is really perfect if you're using it for the little ones. If you have a toddler who struggles with anxiety and frequently wakes up during the night, I would recommend trying something like this blanket. Our daughter is 5 years old and normally only sleeps with a light blanket and so far this weighted blanket has done wonders for her sleep quality. A heavier blanket would likely be too warm, so a weight of 4 pounds is ideal.
