Used to fill the hole in the stake pocket. It's glossy black plastic trim that doesn't look like plastic you'd find on the outside of a car. I bought these for my 2016 RAM 1500 knowing I would need to change them based on information in another review, although the specs list the exact size of my betting pockets. They have been remodeled and serve their purpose. I'd like to measure them to add more information to this review, but haven't thought about it until now. Inserts into the hole are straight and have no edge to snap into.
