Review on Upgraded Guofa Cross Stitch Stand: Hands-Free Embroidery Holder for Craft Projects, Ideal for Cross Stitch and Napkin Working with Stitching Hoop by Jennifer Roberts

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It turned out not to fit

It came with a missing piece of wood, a turned part of a stick and some edges that need sanding down to avoid the risk of snagging the embroidery. Around the plywood base was a gray substance, either wood glue or dirt, giving it a dirty appearance. The part of the handle that you use to adjust the height has wood threads that can wear out faster. I'm handy, so these are smaller things I can fix myself. The biggest problem is that holding the hoop in a way that allows me to work with both hands, rest my elbows on the armrests of the chair to relieve arthritis, and most importantly using the Halters should keep me from bending over and arching my back. I'm a small 5'1", this type of holder was meant to sit on the side of him, but I couldn't sit comfortably in my chair with my heavy arms, even when it was fully extended it wasn't easy to get close to enough to position it to do what I needed so it's still flexed When I put it on my lap or use it on a table I place it at an angle instead which made it difficult to work with its parts but it does can still be used a bit that way but not enough to be worthwhile I will most likely be returning it, the only possible reasons to keep it are to practice woodburning and to show off finished pieces which I really don't need.
