Just took one trip with it so far but I like it, my husband got one also and was happy with it, but we can't speak to durability. It's not leather or anything, so if you somehow beat on yours then it's probably not as durable as a leather one would be. Most of the leather ones had the United States seal on it, which I didn't really want, so not many leather options and I really wanted a magnet instead of a snap so I could easily open with one hand at security but surprisingly found very few for some reason.most had snaps. Ordered a few different ones and did not like the feel of the others at all.
