One of the tallest monitor stands I could find.

Really good for the price. Very durable - I personally think it can withstand more than the stated weight limits. It was one of the few monitor stands I could find that could be adjusted to 8 inches. My husband uses our small flat screen TV as a computer monitor when he works at home. He needs to raise the TV, and a height of 7-8 inches is just right. (He used to use a stack of books and the TV slipped a few times). Adjustable legs are good too. He adjusts the front legs so that they are higher than the back legs. This tilts the stand, making it easier to see the screen. I have to say that it is also quite attractive. I don't mind putting it up in our finished basement.
