Bought this to compare directly to my Viral Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer to see for myself if it compares worth saving a few bucks with this version. First, they feel and function slightly differently. It's a slightly thicker handle and the body gets hotter than the Revlon Salon One-Step Hair and Volumizer Dryer. Here the differences end. This gave me identical results and I actually prefer the stubble. I have very thick butt length curly hair, it took me less time to use than blow drying my hair and it gave me more volume for a longer duration. what is nice to be long and heavy here. I prefer it to a normal dryer. It dried my hair at about the same speed and volume as a Revlon Salon One-Step Hair hair and volumizer dryer and the results lasted just as long. The volume giver because the shaft was hot in comparison and my hair was washed and treated the same for both but was a little drier and a little uncomfortable afterwards. Considering I won't be using it daily or too often, it's not a big deal for me, but if you use it regularly it's worth considering.
